The scripts are divided into parts of about 1000 to 1200 words each for easy reading. At the end of each part, there are simple, interactive activities - self-quizzes - with eight questions. Many language learners have problems with using English articles (a/an, the). These readings are to designed to help you notice the use of articles. Just seeing and noticing how grammar is used in a real text may help you learn that grammar better than studying "the rules" (although you can see these rules, if you want to, by clicking on the "Article rules" button on the left). There are two ways for you to see and notice articles: "Highlighted Scripts" and "Interactive Scripts". |
